MaxMD Management Team
Scott A. Finlay
President and CEO

As president and CEO of MaxMD, Finlay brings more than 15 years of global business experience, drawing on past roles in business management and strategy. With expertise in assessing the feasibility of new business ventures and emerging technologies, Scott is also highly skilled at assembling, motivating, and guiding entrepreneurial product development teams. Prior to co-founding MaxMD, Scott served as managing director for both the North American Equity Trading and Global Equity Finance divisions of Lehman Brothers. In his role as managing director for the Global Equity Finance business, Scott managed an enterprise that grew from $40 million to over $220 million in a five-year period. As the managing director for North American Equity Trading division he was responsible for all equity trading. Scott was also managing director of CIBC's Convertible Bond business where he was instrumental in increasing revenues from under $1 million to over $60 million in just over two years. Scott is a graduate of The United States Military Academy at West Point.

Paul Williams
Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Prior to joining MaxMD, Paul was a managing director of Worldwide Equities at Lehman Brothers, responsible for the global sales, trading and research of equity products for institutional investors. In this capacity, Paul also served as a member of both the executive and operating committees of the firm, providing strategic leadership and direction. In addition to his leadership role with MaxMD, Paul serves on the boards of several non-profit foundations in the United States and South America including the Fiver Children's Foundation and the Fairfield County Micro Investors Council.

Tom Tucker
Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Prior to co-founding MaxMD, Tom served in a number of senior executive positions while at Lehman Brothers, including directing the firm's Institutional Sales divisions for all Capital Markets with a reporting staff of over 1,200 employees. He was an active member of Lehman's executive committee, comprised of the firm's most senior management. Tom also provided leadership and guidance as a member of the firm's operating committee. In addition to his leadership role at MaxMD, Tom devotes his time to the Fiver Foundation, a non-profit organization he founded dedicated to enriching the lives of youth in the greater New York area. The Fiver Foundation represents Tom's singular vision and tireless dedication to building a lasting youth development organization. Tom earned his B.A. in Economics from Colgate University.

Bruce B. Schreiber
Chief Technology Officer

As CTO, Bruce is responsible for technical strategy and development as well as for building the company's technological systems. Prior to joining MaxMD, Bruce was a managing director at Alpha Investment Management, later acquired by Safra National Bank, responsible for risk. At CIBC, he was executive director of the US Equities/Convertible Bond Trading Desk where he was responsible for risk analytics and trading technology. Bruce also held a position as vice president for Institutional Equity Trading at Lehman Brothers and was president of BDJ Securities, Inc., an independent market maker. Bruce holds undergraduate degrees in Operations Research and Biology from M.I.T. and a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering (Computer Science) from Columbia University.
