Why isn't my domain name working?
If you just registered your domain name, it generally takes between 24–48 hours for a newly registered domain name to begin resolving on the Internet.

If your Web site does not appear after you modify the DNS or IP address settings,

If you can view both the old and new Web sites at your domain name, you may want to confirm whether the DNS or IP address settings were recently modified. DNS changes generally take 24—72 hours to publish throughout the Internet and IP address changes require approximately 24 hours. These changes may have been accepted at some locations on the Internet, but not others, resulting in the discrepancy. Additionally, ensure that only one set of DNS is listed for your domain name.

If one or more Name Servers have been added without deleting outdated DNS listings, computers on the Internet will not know which source is authoritative. This will result in the inconsistent resolution of your domain name.

If you are using a Web hosting company or Internet Service Provider (ISP) and the correct information is listed, we recommend that you contact the DNS administrator to ensure that appropriate zone file entries for your domain name have been created.

If none of the above applies, please contact a MaxMD member support specialist.
